On March 9th 2017, the annual Harford County Public Schools High School Choral Assessment Festival was hosted by Havre de Grace High in the Auditorium. 12 choirs from different schools around the county each sang 3 songs, preformed a rhythmic and melodic sight reading, and were given scores from 3 different judges.

The choirs can chose to perform at different levels of music. Level 1 being the easiest music to perform, and 5 being the hardest music. The level they chose to perform at also determines the difficulty of the rhythmic and melodic sight reading.
